my daughter is 16mths and she still wakes up for a bottle in the middle of the night she dont really drink?

She dosent really drink the bottle she just sucks on it she 'll even suck it if its empty how do i break this pattern because I dont want her teeth to become rotten

Answers:
Stop giving her bottles. At 16 months she should be sleeping through the night without needing anything. If she wakes up for her bottle just don't give it to her. Walk in her room if she's crying and softly "sshh" her back to sleep. Don't pick her up or you will be starting another bad habit of her wanting to be held in the middle of the night. She needs to learn how to put herself back to sleep and eventually she won't even wake up in the middle of the night anymore. Good luck and God bless :-)
Put water in the bottle. She might complain the first few nights but she'll get used to it. This way she keeps hydrated, gets to suck on the bottle, and her teeth dont rot. I would put the bottle in her crib if I were you. THis way she might find it herself and not wake you up in the middle of the nightt.
