Is there a Multivitamin for toddlers with calcium?
Answers:
I am a nutritionist
multivitamins do not normally contain much calcium, because it interfeers with absorption of other minerals when taken with them and also because it takes up alot of room
calcium is available by itself and is safe to give to your toddler (the rda for that age is 500mg)
I would also like to mention that poly-vi-sol has only 9 vitamins and NO CALCIUM http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=38155&catid=52795&aid=335972&aparam=poly_vi_sol_multivitamin
http://www.nutritionhelpguide.com/detail.asp?product_id=NHG-1361
has a superior product with 23 essential vitamins and minerals. but again being a multi it only has 80mg of calcium
flintstones with calcium may be ok (ask the doc first because they are intended for years two and up) and contain 200mg of calcium (its still below the 500mg she needs but closer than 80mg...)
you could use viactive chocolate chews (one a day) for your daughter, if she can chew them. you can also boost her intake of other calcium containing food. if you would like a list of these just email me and I will get one to you.

yes its called polyvisal its real good
All multi-vitamins have calcium(MULTI_vitamins). Just check the back of the bottle at your local pharmacy at wal-mart or something. If your really having that much trouble, just ask the attendant at the counter at the pharmacy. poly-vi-sol
is a good one to use...
