How can I stop my 4yr old from wanting her dummy at night?

i told my 4 yr old twins that the baby fairys needed them for their babies. We attached them to the washing line and in the morning the fairys had taken the dummys and left them a nice present each on the line ;)
Mine never wanted them again after that.

I'm not sure what a dummy is, unless you're referring to a mannequin, or a ventriloquist doll. If it's just a doll why not let her go to bed with it? If it's a pacifier, she's way too old for one, and you're just going to have to put up with the screaming and fits until she gets used to the idea of not having one. If I'm completely off the mark, then nevermind! LOL
