I am trying to potty train my son and I am not having any luck. Any suggestions??

I have tried putting a cheerio in the toilet for him to go on and I have also tried putting a piece of toilet paper in the toilet for him to go on. Nothing seems to work so far. HELP!!!

I'm trying to train my son now. Big boy underwear got him excited, but he still didn't go. The same thing with the stickers. I just kept asking him everyday if he needed to go. I think being persistent is the key. Get him up in the morning when you know he should have to go, and make him get on the potty. Once he finally does it once and you make a huge deal about how good he did, it will really motivate him. Now my son really enjoys putting his stickers on the chart although we're still not trained.

Buy him some special underwear and tell him that these are special and he shouldn't mess them up. You know something like SpongeBob.
