What gifts can I put in the goody bags for a child's birthday party?

It's my son's 1st birthday and I am open to suggestions. I am thinking of having different packs for boys and girls. Please send those helpful tips on what I can buy. Thanks

Answers:
Well usually simple enough they have the little multiple packs of generic stuff at Wal-mart for around $1 each. That usually works. But kids also love stuff like stickers, and bubbles. Or depending on how your going to use the party bags, you can put something like paintbrushes in some, crayons in another, or a mix of different things..and use it at the party for them to create their own creation! They might sit down long enough for that! Just remember their only 1..so it's really not going to matter to them! :) Good luck! :)

Are all the kids around that same age? If so, I'd say skip the goody bags and just get balloons for all of them (with the parents' permission-- small children should be supervised around helium balloons on strings).

If they're slightly older, bubbles and stickers are always popular and are very cheap. Here's an online source for cheap party favors and decorations:
