1 year elderly wont drink milk? suggestions?
he has be drinking the simulac powder formula never beed breastfed he wont drink the milk dont know what to do any help or suggestions . thx
Answers: Switching from formula or breast milk is tricky. You might try putting a flavoring into the milk to make it sweeter, or better taste. Or you might try making a shake by adding fresh fruit to the milk in a blender. Besides taste good, they'll be getting their serving of fruit too. Fresh Fruit Shakes are the best! Taste is everything. I love Ovaltine myself. I was raise on it when I was younger & still love it in my milk at 65! Use the Classic Ovaltine, not the chocolate. That wouldn't be a fitting idea. Give it a try - the fruit!!
You need to ween him of the formula by accumulation milk to it. Do a little at a time till eventually its just milk.
