1 year behind the times grinding teeth?

my son just turned one and he has his front 4 teeth on top and middle 2 on the bottom and and he basically got another, and since he started getting that bottom tooth he has be grinding his teeth together, the noise drives me crazy and it sounds like hes ruining his teeth.. is here any way to get him to stop?

Answers:    try to re focus him don't counter it will just reinforce the behavior and he will continue to do it. after adjectives to a toddler any attention is good attention!

My son always ground his teeth to the point they be small stubs. I took him to the doctor and they discovered his adenoids and tonsils were so large they be blocking his airway and once remove...no more grinding. Just a thought for you. Good luck My daughter does this too but she only seems to do it while she is teething, similar to it feels good or something, I'm not sure, but at her 2 year dr appt, surrounded by 2 weeks I'm going to ask her dr about it as well.

My son did it around that age too, it be almost like he was cheerful he found his teeth. It was just a phase and he stopped with alacrity. Good Luck.
