My 2 year old is smarter than the avarege 2 year old, I know this because the teachers keep complaining is that wierd?

Answers:
Teachers are complaining or letting you know? It's not weird, you must have done a good job stimulating his development when he was very young.

Other Answers:
why would they complain if he was smarter
??
no, but id det her in more advanced schooling to get her ahead now
The teachers are weird, yes, why are they complaining? And you should be happy that your 2 yr old is smarter than average...
What are they complaining about?
Is this question trying to accomplish anything but to brag and the brag might not even be true?

Why does big mike think it is a girl?
And what kinda teachers do two year olds have?
Do you mean Child Care people? Preschool? What?
I happened to be the same way. If your child finishes 5th grade or so with incredible grades, like straight 100s, skip a grade or two. That's what I did.
On the contrary, it's good. Ask a specialist for an IQ test.
i dont believe that it is weird, i think its GREAT! keep up the great work!!
It is not weird. It just means that your 2 year old is smart! that is very good! you should be proud!
No, young kids are able to learn things better than older kids. Maybe he's just bored and needs to be challenged more? I suggest talking to the school psychologist and having him take an IQ test.
Complaining?
WHy would you say that is weird, or why would his TEACHERS say that is weird? I say that is GIFTED! My daughter is a little advance and find it awsome. I think your two year old needs a new school.
Not all. My eight month old daughter is starting to talk her first word was bottle :) and she wants to walk !!!
Every parent's 2 year old is smarter than the average 2 year old. And if the tearchers are complaining, then maybe your 2 year old ISN'T really smarter than the average 2 year old. Complaining indicates some sort of problem, like lack of discipline: maybe encouraged by the parent that thinks their 2 year old is smarter than the average 2 year old.

I asked my 2 year old.
No, not weird at all. You should be proud to have such a wonderfully gifted child. You are blessed and so is she. Feed her talent. Enroll her in special classes, get her involved with art and music...It's never to early.

Hey, maybe she will be the first female president! Cool.
Hey, everyone has bragging rights... Continue to be proud of your 2 year old, and keep up the good work.
What are they complaining about?
My son is 3 1/2 and is doing some kindergarten work. If you work with a child and stimulate them from birth it can be the new normal. We as parents have the ability to teach our kid's anything and the first 5 years are the most impotent. Keep working with your little one, and be proud!
Can your 2 year old spell avarege correctly and does he/she now that a run on sentence requires periods.

Average

I know this because the teachers keep complaining. Is that weird?
I am with William on this one. Your 2 year old has teachers? If so then the teachers shouldnt complain because they would know ahead of time because he would be the littlest one in class. I also dont understand the question. If they are complaining what are they saying? I have seen ugly kids be told they were cute and dumb kids told they are smart. Just because something is said doesnt make it true. If your child is advanced then get him or her the proper teachung now other wise putting him/her with standard learning will actually dumb him/her down to the general public.
Is the "teacher" complaining because your child is bored and disruptive due to being advanced I would like to know what the criteria was for gaging this distinction all children develop at there own pace I had two "advanced" or "gifted" children according to the education system and I have never liked those terms or labels, and unless the child is smarter than the teacher I don't know what else he/she would complain about.
How do you know that your child in smarter than the average two year old? Teachers don't COMPLAIN when a child is doing something right. Only when a child is doind something wrong. Your child must be disrupting class in some way.
Find another school. A good educator will find challenging lessons to keep your child occupied, not complain.
You need to find a new school dear. No good school complains that a child is TOO smart.

Good luck!

That nursery your child is in is not right then. Instead of complaining they should recognise that your child is brighter and give him the proper attention needed.

My daughters is above average, and her playschool gives her different things that she can do so that she is not bored etc. They also help the ones that are under average.

You need to complain about your nursery they obv just cant be bothered with your child because he/she is learning at a faster pace so it means more work for them.
I do not think it is weird either, and I am sorry that they feel that way. I would check out another place for my child to go. Maybe the teachers are worried?
Your question is weird. Why would your 2 year old have a teacher and why would they complain that your child is smart?
