What age is it good to start to teach a child to ride a bike with no training wheels?

Answers:
It depends on whether your child is ready for it, (s)he enjoys riding a bike, and on his/her friends also. I had my kids riding the three-wheeler for a while in the front/backyard. Then between the age of 4 and 5, during a camping trip, when many of their friends were also learning how to ride without the training wheels, they felt comfortable learning as well (peer pressure, I guess :-).) It might also be best to let a friend or a relative to teach them with you, as a child might feel nervous with only you there. Riding the bike is a nice experience to have within a family, so starting things on a nice note is a very good thing.

Other Answers:
It really depends on the child, and when they feel confortable balancing on their own. You can always have a test weekend also. Make a game out of it, they will enjoy it now, and won't remeber it when they are older.
