My friend's son is turning into a real brat!!?

He's always spoiled his son, but lately it is beginning to show. The boy is about 16 months old now, I guess, and he pitches fits, cries, and has to get his own way about everything!!
This is all fine and dandy until it's my turn to watch him. I don't want him just running around getting into stuff. Just the other day he turned his milk over ON PURPOSE and everyone got mad at ME for telling him not to do that anymore!!
I love the kid and I don't want to stop watching him anymore, but how do I deal with his tantrums while maintaining a good relationship with the parents??

LOL I know most people don't want to hear this, but the kid needs a good spanking... Tell your friend that you value his friendship and that you want the best for him and his child. Tell him that his child is a great kid but really needs some disipline. Let him know that you like watching his son, however when you watch him, he must obey your rules and that you will use your best judgement with him, but you are no longer going to watch him if he (your friend) does not trust you and respect your decisions when you are watching him...

don't get angry, tell him why it is not appropriate, undo whatever it was, ignore him if it results in a tantrum.

by telling his parents you won't watch the child if they don't respect your limits.
