How do you deal with a child who passes out when crying?

Ever since my daughter was about 6 months old every once in awhile when she cries she will pass out. Does this happen to anyone else and if so how do you deal with it. It is so hard to see her do this it breaks my heart every time. I have taken her to doctors and they say it won't hurt her.

Answers:
You are up against a very strong - willed child that is throwing temper tantrums to try to get their way - and it starts as early as 4-6 months believe it or not. Do not give in or you will have even more problems.

Just make sure you get a second opinion. Just in case - to rule out evidence of anything else like petit-mal seizures etc...(very rare it would be this though)

If you find out it is just behavioral - get educated on how to deal with a strong-willed child (behavior issues)

One good thing to check out is 1-2-3 Magic (I know the local libraries do carry this or can order it for you) This is a tape/DVD/or a book that you can learn how to handle some issues that might be a concern for you.
I have never seen a child pass out from crying listen to your dr it wont hurt her just make sure she is around something soft when she is throwin a fit! or ask another dr!
