Answers:
Puzzles are a great way to teach numbers, too. Just keep counting with her, most toddlers skip around when they count. She'll get it eventually. You might want to start teaching her her address and phone number. I started this with my daughter when she was 2 and now she knows them both. I would ask her, what is your phone number and then immediately start singing the phone number to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, 5 5 5 2 4 2 4, 5 5 5 2 4 2 4, on and on until the song is over. Then I would ask her what is your address and then I would sing, to the tune of It's Raining It's Pouring, the Old Man is Snoring, My name is Allie and this is where I live, 24 So and So Street, City Name, State. Now when I ask her those questions she immediately starts to sing! Just have fun with her!

by the alphabet fridge magnets, and teach her a letter everytime you go in the kitchen.

Hi,
every time you walk up and down stairs with your daughter, count the steps with her...when your playing with toys every now and then ask her how many of a certain item there are, don't wait for a reply just start counting them out loud to her. The same with letters, when you do something say what starts with this letter? I have two big charts on the wall, one with numbers on and the other letters of the alphabet. When my 2 year old daughter points something out to me on the charts then I'll talk to her about it. Just do these things everyday in normal life, it soon becomes routine. Don't do it all day long of course or your daughter will stop listening and get bored. Good luck and don't worry too much, they all get there in the end.

ok what I did with my son is everytime that we start walking I start countint the streps, and we just to take a shower get the letter on the wall and playy saying names of things is real fun and easy shpes well that withthose puzzles, also try to say the nmes of your nose eyes stuff like that talk real slow and maje sure that u used no nick nmaes like ua ua to a dog and stuff. count with fingers and help her identify how many fingers you're holding up. after the concept sets in that four fingers = 4 just takes working at it and practice. it helps to count everyday objects too. but don't push too hard, cuz then they'll refuse to learn

animated letters with music and words it free and there's no commericals {spam} used it for my grand kids

sing the ABC song with her and then sing the song with flash cards. sing with her the numbers in order then with flash cards, sesame street will help too!

i have a 5yr old and twin 3 yr olds and we sing the alphabet and say our numbers and i will ask them what color things are. she may be too young for the flash cards right now. she will catch on really fast at head start there is not much prep needed for that.
