help me understand?

My nephew is almost two years old, and at times he can be a perfect little angel. Other times, however, he like snaps and will start to throw things and punch and hit and bite and all that stuff. Its not a reaction to anything like being punished or having something taken away. He just will be playing and then all of a sudden he will attack who ever is closest to him. Is this normal for a 21 month old?

its totally normal. at that age, they dont know how to control theyre emotions. thats why hes all over the place. my son does the same thing, but its usually prompted by not getting something that he wants. it takes TONS of patience to get through it, but it will get better.

slap the S out of him. that should cure it.
