I can't get my son to sleep with anything else but his "blankie"?

Now that it's getting colder out, I'd feel more comfortable if he'd sleep with something warmer along with his blankie. It's so small. I even took him out and bought him a Nemo comforter, but he'll have nothing to do with it. Any advice??

Dress him in blanket sleepers for sleep..

Walmart usually has the for under $15.00 a set for twin size...

His body heat will quickly bring the temperature inside up to a nice level...

Along with the blanket sleeper and flannel sheets your son will sleep warmly even if the temperature dips a bit during the night...

After he is asleep you can cover him with a blanket besides his favorite... He may kick it off during the night, children have a tendancy to sleep hot meaning thier temperature actually rises a bit while they sleep... I have been told it has to do with growing and rebuilding muscles and such... The construction in the body generates heat...

Most of all don't worry when your son begins getting cool during the night, he will gain interest in his comforter...
I think you should cut small peices off one at a time, and eventually it will become smaller and smaller until its gone! Problem sloved!
