Toddler teeth?

My son is 28 months, he is having decay in 4 of his front tooth. His dentist says that it can be filled, but the procedure involves a general anaesthesia. We are really worried about the procedure. Have any one of you had such a situation?

My 6 year old step son had oral surgery like the one you described when he was 4, and now he is having it again in October. Everything came out fine. He was a little scared at first, but them put him to sleep before they did the IV, with gas, and it was fine! I would tell you not to worry, but since you are a mother, I know it is impossible. I'm sure it will be fine and good luck to you and your baby!

My sons baby teeth were terrible. No flouride in our water and generally thin enamel from antibiotics as a baby. He had a lot of his baby teeth filled no problem.
