What is a good safe gift for a 1year old little girl that just started walking?

She is always ontop of her mother and mom feels over whelmed sometimes.

Well lets see there are so many great toys out there for little ones. I have a set of boy/girl twins and the best toys ive found for them are letter and number magnets, mega blocks, touch and feel books, leap frog(first one for infants and toddlers),toy phones, babies, shopping cart to push around, just simple stuff and inexpensive items too.

A stuffed animal or what would be cute is if you wrote her a letter or a poem and when she's older she can read it.

A great gift I think is this great toy called the Baby Gymastics Play Wall. I bought it for my nephew and he loves it. It encourages movement and walking and crawling. It has toys that you can pull off and put on. IT IS SO GREAT! It is about $40 at Wal-Mart and it is worth every penny. It really helps them walk and feel independent. You can also purchase additional attachments to add on to the wall.

Any kind of activity table. Baby Einstien makes one that is great. It teaches them letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. My daughter loved it. She played with it all the time. If it will keep her busy for a little while her mom will be very happy.

Funny foam soap. Water play is very good for children, and bath time is a good time for children and parents. This soap (find it at WalMart) comes in fun colors, and makes bath time play time and clean up time, too!
