my toddler has eye boogers on her left eye how can i get rid of it?

Answers:
Is the tissue surrounding the eye red? If it is you may be dealing with conjuctivitis (pink eye). There is a line of homeopathic treatment called Similasan Healty relief that has several different eye drops that are very effective in treating this condition (and others). I used the pink eye relief recently and was very pleased to avoid a Dr's visit...This med is available o-t-c at Walgreen's and most pharmacies.

Do you or anyone in your house smoke or have a really dusty envoriment. It could very well be allergies talk to your doctor. We had the same problem and its was dust and smoke. If not than try saline drop for eyes but once again call the doc first before you try anything
Well first of all you can use a warm towel and wipe it down and it could just be a little irritaion to her eye such as allergys. Second my daughter had the same problem since she was a baby she is now 3 she always had eye boogers in her eye finnally I talked to her doctor about it he told me it was called a "TearDuck" he told me if this continued for another year then she would have surgery nothing major. But this didn't go away so I had surgery on her eyes and now her eyes are clear now I havent had that problem since her surgery. So if she keeps having this then you might want to talk to her doctor about a tearduck. Hope this helps.
lick it like a good mother
my son has the same problem like above it could be a ( blocked tearducked ) and the only way to fix that problem is surgery...talk to you pediatrician
Well if it is really bad she might have an eye cold and you need to take her to the doctors.
