I am torn about what type of potty to get for my son?? which kind did u use?

They have the ones that make noises, sing songs, have a flusher and toilet paper holder...
Is that stuff helpful? i think my kid would be more interested to flip the lid open to hear the phrases, and just sit on it, and get back up to hear the phrases, and sit there spinning the toilet paper holder. That might mean hes not ready yet....
Anyways, should the potty be this fun and entertaining? or should i get the plain one,??

I got my daughter one of those expensive singing ones and guess what she never uses it. She wants to use the big potty like mommy and daddy use. She does play with it but has NEVER gone potty on it. Just buy one of those soft seat inserts for the regular potty and a step-stool. You'll save a lot of money and space too!

i bought the fisherprice royal potty it comes with a potty book and makes noise when they go in it. go with the plain potty the noise will scare him
