you can't but don't worry he/she will grow out of it eventually
you can cut out night time drinking say an hour or two before bed. otherwise you cant their bladder is still to immature. my 3 year old wears a pull up at night still because he still wets at night
set an alarm for him to wake every two hours
hit him hard on his A S S
stop giving them drinks after a certain time of an evening.
Get them up to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
some kids it just takes longer then others.
Good Luck!
put a nappy on him
Your three year old probably has no control over his bedwetting. His body isn't ready yet and it may take a while for him to gain control. My 9 year old daughter has just now gained night time control. Try not to traumatize your son over it and buy plastic sheets.
Get a bed wetting alarm (google). You tuck a pad into the panties at bedtime, and at the first drop of urine, a gentle alarm goes off so the child can get up and go to the bathroom. This soon 'trains the brain' to wake up when there is a strong urge to urinate.

It worked with my friend's son.
Maybe your three-year-old is just not ready for nighttime continence yet. When my kids were potty-training, the pediatrician said some kids don't achieve full nighttime continence until the age of 4 or 5. I kept a diaper or pull-up on both of my kids at night until they were routinely dry in the morning for quite a while. They were both 4+ at that point.
Why don't you just let your child try a diaper or pull-up just at night until he/she is routinely waking up dry morning after morning? Also, it helps if you limit fluid intake in the last 2-3 hours before bedtime.
Good Luck.
No fluids before bedtime.
If your child is hesitant to get out of bed during the night because of a fear of the 'dark' then give him/her a flashlight to walk to the bathroom. Make the trip to the toilet a FUN experience. Be creative. Make up a 'toilet song' each time your child needs to go...
If he/she wets the bed while asleep during the night, take the child to your local doctor. He may have a weak bladder in which case pelvic floor exercises can help...
Bedwetting is a part of childhood. Try not giving him anything to drink one hour before bedtime and make sure to take him to the potty right before bed.
Good luck.
This case need patience. First try to decrease the fluids he drinks in the evening. Before he goes to bed train him to go to bathroom first. the difficult part is to check him in the middle of the night and take him to bathroom. this should continue till he get his sense of urgency while sleeping.
Don't worry some children stop that at bigger ages. Don't forget to reward him if he didn't wet his bed the night before (even with your help) and in the same time don't punish him for not responding quickly
Use Pads
Get a waterproof mattress pad and have her wear "Good Nights" underwear. It's quite normal and she will grow out of it.
You cant stop him from doing that. IT is jsut something they do and they will grow out of.

First you need not worry since he is just three years old - at this age they don't have much control over their bladder when they are sleeping.
However you can actually start doing a few things to stop it later on.
1. Make him drink plenty of water during the day time - this will increase his bladder size and his retention capacity.
2. Ask him to hold it for slightly longer than what he does to increase his retention capacity.
3. Reduce intake of fluids during evening time.
4. If he sleeps early and you go to bed late, try taking him to toilet before you sleep.
5. When he is slightly older, remove his nappies, put a water proof sheet on his bed and let him sleep in underwear. When he wets his bed and feels uncomfortable, it will quickly reduse his bed wetting. (Though may increase your laundry load before that!)
He is three he will grow out of it. Did you think that maybe you should wake up in the middle of the night, get him up and make him go to the bathroom.
