how many hours per night sleep should a two yr old toddler have?

Answers:
It varies from child to child, but as a general rule we'd like to see at least 10 hours of sleep (though at least 8 is fine). And for a 2yo, at least 1-2 naps daily. Some take more, but this should be enough. Most kids will sleep enough if they have the opportunity. Try to avoid excessively late bedtimes. A lot of kids actually sleep longer if they go to bed earlier.

Other Answers:
10 with a break for potty

Based on recommended levels, that is 14-15 hours per day for infants, 12-14 hours for toddlers, 11-13 hours for preschoolers, and 10-11 hours for kids in first to fifth grade.

At least 10 hours sleep per night, this prepares them mentally for the next day. You will notice that they are more enthusiastic and not as tempremental.

I read min. 12 hours of sleep per day. But my two year old leeps only 7-8 hours at night and take a 3 hour nap, only 10-11 hours per day. I asked my pediatrician and she says it's normal as long as he's not extra fussy or acting odd. It also depends on if they're active or not. My boy is the quiet kind so he doesn't run around and he doens't get tired. But every child is different!
