MY youngest refuses to potty train and he is about to be 4.. HELP?

My other two children were potty trained by 2 for my daughter and 3 for my son, why does my last one have to be so difficult. He is a wonderful child and does just about anything I ask except go potty... He says he wants to try and even though I try to make it fun and remind him ALOT he still wets his underwear, PULLUPS do not work AT ALLL.... I need a way that fits in a busy schedule to help him to want to do it, I wish I had more time with him, and I think maybe he does it for attention... any ideas?

Answers:
I agree with ALTARI, I have 3 children myself I learned pull ups is a waste of money its just like a diaper. With my children during potty training I use real underwear, that way they can feel the nasty mess on their butt. "And believe me they dont like that" so they ran to the potty. and when they made a mess I made them put it in the toliet theirself. Potty training was a champ!

Have you tried making him to his own laundary? We're doing that with out 3 year old and it's helping. She has to strip her bed and load it in the washer if she wets. Other than that, I'm at a loss too.

Dont fret your not alone. Boys are sometimes hard. Especially #2. Just remember don't get mad, keep it positive and reward him for any step in the right direction. try if he wnts to go to the toilet. this way he can be like the grownups he admires. or let him pi$$ standing. we didn"t use pullups either. yes, he knows he is getting more attention this way. or just wait until summer comes. coldness receptors make him urinate twice as often - winter time is not so easy.
