What is the best age to start a toddler in dance classes - specifically, ballet?

As I am a former recruiter for a performing arts school, I suggest age 3. At that age, they are very creative and open to exploring that thru fun interactive exercises. They interact with other children which helps to build social skills, as well as creative dramatics,& movement.

4 or 3, that happened with my family. my lil sister started ballet classes when she was 3; however i don't believe that she got a lot out of it. I would say it depends on the child.

Around to or three, if it is a long term thing you wnat to get her into, start her early, but make sure she likes it, I did my own thing and embarrased the class because I didn't liek it

I started ballet when I was 3 years old. when I was 5 I was hired to dance with the San Franciso Ballet Company. I retired from Ballet at the age of 19, because of my knees!
