what kind of milk is appropriate for a 2 year old child?

Answers:
it depends on your childs weight and health. my boys (4 yr) get whole milk while my daughter (2 yr) gets 2% you can talk to their dr and they will tell you what is best for your child because no child is the same my 2 year old weighs more than my 4 year olds but they are all healthy

Other Answers:
2% is fine.

vit d is the best for children under 5 After the second birthday, 2% milk is fine. Whole milk is recommended for babies under 2.

I was told to do whole milk from age 1-2, 2% for ages 2-3, and if you wanted you can do skim after the 3rd birthday. It also depended on how much milk your child drinks. A friend of mine has a son who didn't drink much milk at all and was told to give him whole milk even after he turned two.

I still give my 4 year old whole milk. I've been told they need that healthy fat to help their brain develop. He's so active he needs those strong bones and he burns off any calories he'd get from it.
