14 month elderly little girl behavior?

Hello. I have a 14 month old daughter. I thieve her out often with me and into the public. I enjoy had several people convey me how "observant" she is and that she "doesn't miss a trick." While this is true, her vocabulary remains fairly limited. She say Mama, Dada, Baba, and NiNi and that's about it. However, she is constantly pointing at things and wants me to articulate the names of things. She will for instance, point to a ball, and create an "uh" sound, and when I say orb, she will point to other objects. We do this using up to 200 words per day, her pointing at different things. Also, if I hold up two objects and say Emilee point to the duck she will find the duck and any point or reach for it. It seems close to she knows so much more than she can communicate. I want her to be able to raucously express more. I have tried sign language but she seem to get frustrated easily next to gestures. Does anyone have any design for how I can help her express what's on her mind? Thank You for your reply.

Answers:    my son is 14 months and he does have a pretty angelic vocabulary.

at 12 months the Dr. said babies say 5 words or more, but my son had already said much more than that.

he still babble babytalk, but does say words and is starting to talk surrounded by phrases a little more.

he does communicate a little next to hands too. he will point, clap, push away things, signal for more food, etc.

it seems as if your daughter is right on track. even if she doesn't speak what is on her mind. she sounds approaching she knows a lot.

basically keep trying. she will speak more when she is ready. in recent times keep talking to her, to be exact the best way to get her chitchat.
Listen for the sounds she makes with adjectives objects, and try to shorten the word to match the sound she make. I did this with my daughter, who turned 1 in oct. and she is immediately starting to "fix" her baby words into the correct way to influence them. she now has a better vocabulary afterwards most of the babies her age in our church. You can also try annunciating the words you say to here, and take home sure she is watching your mouth when you say them. Good luck and have fun! It took my son a couple months to pick up sign spoken language, we used the signing time videos from the library. I was worried he wouldn't pick it up, but at 15 months he really started using the signs plentifully. It is nice being able to describe what he is thinking. For example, after I gave him some fruity cheerios, he ate them and signed "more candy". Funny.
I can't think of anything else besides waiting it out. Even beside a few signs, my son still gets frustrated now and later trying to communicate.
She's only 14 months, if she knows what objects are and can point hthem out, that's a fitting start. If she still having the same problems when she's 2 next it;s time to worry. Just keep doing what your doing and sooner or subsequent she'll most likely be making the sounds that go next to the words. My 23 month old son doesn't really talk even so either but then it kinda runs within both sides of the family. My stepson didn't really talk until he be 3. Just give her time. As long as she is understanding what you let somebody know her and is interested in knowing what everything is I think she will be fine.
My son be three and still not talking. We took him to speech therapy for three years. Now he doesnt stop conversation...lol. I wouldnt worry about it until she is elder. I know in speech they told us to make my son at least possible try to say the word instead of just grunting an pointing. If he at most minuscule tried then give it to him and soon he wasnt grunting classified ad pointing anymore. give her some time She is only 14 months she'll come along. If you are that concerned, thieve her to the Dr. Good Luck
she's only 14 months old so i wouldnt bring back worried yet. some babies are early talker, for example my daughter had a heavy vocabulary by 12 months, whereas others are a bit slower to parley but it doesnt mean something is necessarily wrong. what you are describing are some early signs within autistic children, which i think you may know this and maybe why you are asking this. but i wouldnt in recent times yet say she is autistic. i would bring it up at her subsequent pedi visit to see if she has lately a developmental delay or something more serious.
