I have mixed feelings over taking my former 26 weeker twins to visit my husbands Grandma in a nursing home?

Our boys are now 21 months old. How do other parents feel?

Answers:
I worked as an aid in nursing homes for years, so I'll tell you, it's more dangerous to take them to the grocery store.

They're old...that's not contagious. Call the front desk before you go and simply ask the charge nurse if young kids are allowed. If there is a serious outbreak of cold or flu, they will prevent anyone under 12 from coming in, anyway.

Any resident with anything worse than the cold or a flu (like pneumonia or bronchitis) will most likely already be in the hospital. The staff is good about catching serious illness and getting thier residents the care they need.

Please take them...their Great-Grandma will LOVE IT! She is just sitting their waiting for a chance to see them.

Other Answers:
I would have no hesitation whatsoever. Grandma will be thrilled and be very proud in front of the other old people. The children will have a photo opportunity and never forget the visit. Go for it............

I am confused by your question.
'former 26 week'
'now 21 months'
I am sure she would be delighted to see them, it's what being a Grandmother is all about.

my husbands grandma is 95 and she loves my daughter theres just something about old people and kids they have a bond with each
