My 8 mo. old didn't pee for 48 hrs?

I took her to the hospital this morning, she hadn't peed in 40 hrs. All the blood tests came back neg., Kidneys and liver are fine. She wasn't dehyrdated, no sign of any kind of infection at all. After 6+ hrs of I. V. drip ( 550ml) and 6 bottles she peed a little bit. Then the doctors just like "Okay, go home, she peed". It doesn't add up. What could have made her not pee for 2 days? (she also lost 2.5 lbs since thurseday, and has had a good appetite.)

Answers:
Do you bathe her in bubble bath? When I was a child I used to love bubble baths - however, it caused me to have bladder infections all the time (until my mom figured it out). Anyway - because of the infection - I developed a narrowed urethra and made it very difficult for me to pee.

So - I would suggest you monitor how much fluid she is taking in for the next few days and how many wet diapers she has. Cut
out bubble baths (if she is having these), and then take her to a urologist (specialist) That is definitely NOT NORMAL.
SO!!
