13 month prehistoric... sick...?
I did name the pediatrician's office, but they were so ho hum more or less it...
She does NOT have a fever, and except being more sleepy than usual, she is almost completely normal...
WHAT does this nouns like? I called the Dr. yesterday and will ring up back today because her diareah is NOT improving, and have gotten runnier (it's NOT watery, but it's defiantely runny, and she's pooping at least 5-8 times a sunshine, sometimes more, and it SMELLS way worse than usual)...
Any ideas? Thank you.
Answers: Follow your heart Mom know their child - don't ask for the dr. to help over the phone simply say "I stipulation the soonest appt. you have available" and don't take no for an answer.
She will capture dehydrated if she is not helped soon. Look at her diet to be sure she is consumption a balanced diet and not too much fruit or juices. cheese, and dairy products are needed to relief firm things up!
What your child has is eerily similar to something called the Roto virus. Below I own included a link to a website that will tell you more roughly speaking it. Ask your doctor about it. I've worked in daycares and school for many years and I've seen some of them closed down for several days because of this virus. Roto have a very distinctive smell . OK at that age there is alot going on some babies develope colic and some I don`t know from teathing who know may be she put something in her mouth "not nesesarily toxic" from the floor that you didnt see an old penny could be adequate at that age to throw off her digestion a little approaching the person above if it dosent get better and your not bright and breezy with your Dr take her to the ER but remember your going to be in that for a while its not really an emergency unless there is blood, broken bones or failure of a fundamental organ. ie lungs, heart or brain.
is she teething? try giving her apple banana toast and rice
see if that helps it could be a general stomac virus, also try giving her probiotic close to acodophilus (SP?) you can get that at healthfood stores like unbroken foods...

I agree with Angie. She is really young so don't embezzle your chances. A lot of doctors nowadays don't really try sturdy enough anymore! If nothing improve, you should take her to the ER or try another pediatrician. Don't mess around, she's too young. If you doctor won't minister to, take her to the ER with a "diaper sample"
