should my 15 month old be talking?

My son is 15 months old and he really isn't saying anything yet. He says mom and dad but nothing else. We have heard him say a few words before but he doesn't say them all the time and he really doesn't seem to listen when I try to teach him words. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Answers:
Kids talk at all different ages. If you're really concerned get a doctor's opinion, but it could just be that he's not ready to gab yet.
