12 month ancient wont drink?

I have taken my 12 month old daughter rotten the bottle but now she has started refuse the sippy cup. If she does drink out of her sippy she only takes a few sips and thats it but most of the time she refuse it. I dont know what to do. Im constantly scared she will get parched but i dont know what I can do to make her drink. I have tried giving her a straw I hold tried letting her drink from a proper cup I have tried 3 types of sippies nothing is working even though she would drink from sippies fine up to that time we stopped the bottle. what should i do? should i give in and administer her the bottle again?

Answers:    thats normal. i kno when my sis was getting accustomed, she did that too so my mom tried switching betwwen bottle and sipp. start w/ the bottle when shes awake, when shes wakling up and going down for a nap, sippy.then bit by bit, start working on giving the sippy mor and the bottle less

also: now babys r us and other stores presently sell sippys for that. its kind othe diapers stages: the first one is a nipple, till it take to a sippy cup lid
Okay-I think you took her off the bottle too soon. I didn't hold my daughter off the bottle until she was 2 and 1/2, and it be a much easier transition. But, if you insist on taking her off now, the best method is to alternate between the bottle and sippy cup so she'll get adjusted to the sippy cup easier. In reality, I introduced the sippy cup to my daughter about 7 months before I truly took her off the bottle. Just some food for thought. 12 months is quite rash fo ryou to totally stop the bottle.. you should have phased it out slowly as a lot of babies inevitability a bottle to sooth, just like when they are on the breast. Put her wager on on the bottle and then gradually wean her sour it by using the sippy cup for water and the bottle for milk feeds, after adjectives that is what she is used to.
there is no rule to say-so that they should stop the bottle totally at 12 months after all.
please give her the bottle she is so small to discipline her so much. don't contribute in. instead get her a sippy that propose the use of a straw. My daughter associated the sippy with giving up the bottle. when I offered her a straw she would drink. She will drink when she gets thirsty.
I,ve 4 girls and I have no problem giving them a bottle of milk at bed time if they asked for it. Maybe you could try to phase the bottle out rather than stop altogether. She'll get in that. Is she eating well? Things resembling fruit have a lot of fluid within them, try some watermelon. Is she still active and not lethargic , later I would say she is not dehydrated. But I agree next to everyone else , she is still so little, maybe just at hours of darkness before she goes to bed.Wean her past its sell-by date slowly. Does she sleep through the night? Or does she wake within the night for her bottle ? My daughter has started to report to me when she doesn't want her milk, they are young enough to still know how to listen to what there bodies are telling them.
