Introducing whole milk?

My daughter will be a year old next month, and I wondering how to start introducing whole milk. I was just wanting to hear some of the ways that have worked out from other parents. Thanks in advance.

Answers:
I weaned my son slowly off his formula. For an 8 ounce bottle, we would do 2 oz milk, 6 oz formula. After about 3-5 days, I did 3 oz milk, 5 oz formula, and so on until my son was completely off the formula. I probably could have went a little faster, b/c he didn't really seem to notice or care, but I think I was worried he would wake up hungry in the night, b/c he didn't get that formula before bed. Now I'll sit him down for a little night time snack - usually fruit, or a fruit bar, about a 1/2 hour before bed, and that way he feels a little more full! Good Luck!
we just gave my son a cup of whole milk to see if he would like it. we started low like 3 oz. to make sure he wouldnt get sick, then we just filled up the sippy cup and called it a wrap
