2 year olds and wading pools,going *nude*-HELP!?

I think getting them one-piece suits is a good idea. But as for just getting them to understand that bathing suits are supposed to get wet, like you asked, let them wear the bathing suits in the bathtub to get used to it. My daughter loves wearing her suits in the tub and pretending to be at the beach. And if nothing works, don't worry too much, they will grow out of it soon! Shoot even I want to run around naked sometimes!

it's competely normal for little kids to run around naked....they don't know that you're supposed to get the bathing suits wet. i wouldn't worry about just yet Oh, my! Time to get one piece suits! Especially ones that actually tie in the back or have fasteners that stay put.

Hehehe... I dunno. Maybe take them shopping for NEW suits. Something they'd love and want to wear. Let them pick the suits out. kids grow out of the nudist stage...lol they will be ok.
If you feel that it is upsetting the 4 years old then tell the little ones that it's a bathing suit or they don't go in the pool.
Just set the rules and they will soon get the hang of it.
hmmm...you cn either explain to him that since they are still "little" and he is a big kid it is ok for the "little" ones to be naked, no body cares, but as a big kid, as he already knows, he "gets" to wear clothes. Make sure you make a big fuss about them being "little" and him being "big."
And/or get in your own 2 piece and get in the water too...show them that some clothes are for getting wet.
if its in a private yard, like say, yours or a family members house, theres NOTHING wrong with taking off the bathing suit and going nude for the kids...... dont discourage it if its in a private yard... You could always put those water diapers on them,little swimmers, that way they can be a little naked, but still have their butts covered. Explain to them that they need to respect their bodies and stay dressed around boys, that's what I did with my daughter and it worked.

i agree that it is normal for kids to go naked some times but if it bothers you you might put on your batheing suit and get in with them and say see how pretty i am with my suit dont you want to wear yours too but that may also lead to the age old problem of getting them to take them off and not live in them they are old enough to understand when you talk to them so you might tell them that the pool is a special place where they can get their batheing suit s wet and the bathroom is a special place where clothes stay dry i hope i helped
They are 2. They love to be naked. Let them. My 2 year old son does the same thing. They dont know any better. Its harmless and that will change when they get a little older. My other 2 sons also did this and they eventually began to stay dressed on their own finally.Let them go naked.
I had a similar problem with a 3 year old I used to babysit. Neither her mum or I could get her to keep her suit on. Mum bought all sorts of suits and she still took them off. So we let her swim nude. When she got to 4 1/2 I got to take her to friend's places and the friends were all wearing swimmers so she decided to copy. From then on it wasn't a problem. As for big brother, if he sees you allowing them to be nude he will stop stressing about it. If he decides to be nude to then let him, but chances are he won't - he'll think he's "too grown up for that"

my babysitting experience buy them a ONE piece suit..and see how that works out..
put your ONE piece suit on TOO and get in with them to show them thats how it is done
