What ever happened to Steve from Blues Clues?

The show says he went to College and his little brother Joe takes over. I heard he was sick or in rehab. His real name is Steven Burns. Does anyone know what really happened to him?

I have a nephew who likes Blues Clues and I wandered the same thing too. So, I researched it and found out that he went to college and then started his own band. They have an album called Songs for Dustmites. There is a music video on his web site and I actually like his music.

i just asked a friend this same question a couple days ago because i don't really like the guy that took over. i liked steve better. i didn't know that it was his brother, but now that you say that, he does look like him. anyway, i think steve went into rehab and then now he does something in music. i think he should come back to blues clues.
