How do I teach my 3 year old daughter to use the potty, with out frustration?

Answers:
Really that is something that a child should learn when they first start to walk because the older they are the more difficult it is to teach them.

What is the situation, is she afraid of the toilet? Why is potty training her frustrating.

The best way to train any child really is to take them into the bathroom every hour and sit with them. Talk to them about "happy" things. Maybe even reward them with something. (just friendly advice) I would avoid the sugary snacks, maybe bribe them with a trip to the park or something that they really like doing.

As corny as it sounds, do what you can to make the potty trips a pleasant experience. :)

Believe it or not, but that is actually what I did my senior thesis paper on in high school a few years ago. I'd say let her know that it is something all people do, and that when she is trained she will get to wear big girl panties, just like mommy. It seems that little girls want to be like their mothers so much that they will do almost anything, and just the panties are enough of a bribe in most cases that it will definetly aid the process! (I have put this into practice, too, and it has a pretty good success rate at the preschool where I worked!)
I put my child on the potty about 2 hours after they ate and sat with them. And made it fun by singing a made up song about how fun it is to go to the potty. My son looked forward to going to the potty. And then I explained he can do it and when he did go while on the potty we had a happy dance.
