Other Answers:
could be a bad diaper rash... could be heat rash... could be a lot of things. If she saw the doc today, I would talk to the parents and find out WHY she has the rash. Is it something contageous to other children you watch?

Then ask them what the doctor recommends so that you can be sure to address it while caring for her.

it sounds like diaper rash. thats nothing really serious. she just needs some cream to help it. the parents should give you some diaper rash cream when she is with you, that will soothe her and make it go away. hi i had that before i but corn starch

Her diaper needs to be changed more often.

Its just a bad diaper rash and could be a type of fungul infection. Im sure the doctor gave her the proper medicine. My son had something similar when he was about 4 months old and it was a fungal infection, which I have no idea what is the causeof it but diaper rash cream doesnt help it. . If the parents dont mind, let her run around without the diaper for a little while so it doesnt hurt her more

I would nicely ask the parents, letting them know that she is miserable. Cornstarch works wonder. I knew a child who had a bad case of diaper rash, turned out she had real sensitive skin and the diaper had to be off as much as possible
