What are the pros and cons for a one year old in the modeling field?

I have a one year old baby boy; he is an inter-racial mix of chinese and caucasian. Many people have told me to get my son to a modeling agency because he is so good looking. However, I am not sure if it is the best idea. I would like my child to be recognized and have extra cash but I wouldn't want to make him cranky or miserable in the future. Is there is a way to get him to a good modeling agency in NY or how else can I go about this?

Look up modeling agencies in your area and call them to set an appointment, first of all. Secondly, if you do decide to let your one year old model you need to let the agency know you are in charge of the schedule. That way if you see that you son is getting cranky you can say it's time for a break and dictate how long the break is. As long as you tend to the needs of your son over the needs of the agency your son will be happy. You just have to remember that the agency is only trying to make money and they do not care about the well being of your son.

i wouldnt take it so seriously, until hes old enough to tell you that this is what he wants. i feel like kids should enjoy being kids for as long as they can. have fun with the pictures and everything but dont let it be a major factor in your familys lives.
