"I am I pregnant"? Where are the parents?
then I wonder.. where are all the parents these days!? They should be the first one the little girls should be talking to! But no... she's asking Yahoo!Answers instead... that's pitiful.
What kind of parents are we, this day in age, where our own children can't talk to us about important things such as pregnancies and sex... think about THAT!
Now.. go talk to your kids about sex, alcohol, drugs, boys, girls, periods, SEX, smoking, peer pressure, honesty... etc. (YOU get the picture!)
Quit making those topics such a "no-no" subject... our children are getting taught these things from other kids who don't know the truth! Be the truth to your kids!

Well, I can only speak for myself. I got pregnant at 17. I didn't come to ppqna.com s for advise. I actually told my parents, can you believe it? My mom and dad were always really open with me about everything. My mom got pregnant with me at 17 while being on birth control, so we had that talk MANY times. My uncle smoked crack for years, ended up in a coma in the hospital, so I pretty much had the drug talk constantly. Like I said, I had very open, honest parents yet I still became pregnant at 17( I also wasn't living on my with my parents was very close to being done with school). I have to admit though, talking to your kids helps a lot. Another situation; My daughter is 2 1/2 now, at least my oldest is. 4 months ago my 15 year old cousin came to my house telling me SHE was pregnant. I tried telling her how difficult it is going to be and she replied by saying "Well, you and Billy do just fine." Billy is my fiance. He fathered both of my children. I explained to her that we are TOGETHER, that we both had good jobs, that we were both out of school, etc. Anyways, because my aunt never sat her down and talked to her about it, this is what happened. This girl has already been pregnant and miscarried at 13. I told her mom then that she needed to talk to her and she said that her daughter would never think of having sex while she was still in school....goes to show you what not talking to your kids does.
THAT'S THE TRUTH. IF YOU ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH TO YOUR CHILDREN THEN THEY WILL KNOW WHAT IS TRUE.
