Ask your self do you really want to find him, if yes then i guess may you want to find out why he left you. If this question is haunting you then i guess you should try to find him, but if you are happy with your current life and have no hard feelings for your father then may be you should put your search to an end as sometimes things don't turn out the way you want. I don't want u to resent after you find about your father.

Everyone who is in your shoe will be curious about their birth parent. Even though he left you when you were young, don't you wan to know why? Want to know what had he got to say, what is his life how and ho does he look like. No one will be able to forget their birth parent. However, the most important thing is to follow your heart. If you think u are not ready, then don't do it now.
I think you should try to find him because if you dont you might come to regret it.

Up to you, If you are wondering about him that much , maybe you should find him and tell him how you feel about him leaving you annd how much he has missed in your life. Then after that, if he still in coming in your life , then let go and move on. It's not your fault, it's his ault for not being in your life. you could try to find him and ask him why he left you.
I think you should ask your mother about it. After that, even if she doesn't agree, you should search. My dads been around all of my life, but my I have half-siblings that never met their dads. I can't imagine what that is like. My sister tried to search for her dad, at first I didn't understand why and then I just stopped and thought. It must make you feel incomplete to know that someone fathered you and you don't even know who it was. I suggest that you look for him!
