How do you politely tell a guy that likes you to stop following you around???

I would tell him you appreciate his friendship but there is a guy you are interested in and ask his advice.If you put him on the friend level he will know you are not interested in him and get the hint.You can always try to set him up with one of your friends who he will definitely not like and he will feel the pressure to stay away so he doesn't have to answer to her.
