Why are kids these days upsesed with drugs?
Answer:
illegal drugs: because it is against the law
legal drugs: because the parents will get angry
-they don't do what they are allowed to do, but they have no problem doing what isn't allowed
-take a look at france, for instance, they don't really have an age for drinking there and you don't see a lot of them getting very drunk

Kids are no more obsessesed with drugs these days, than years ago.

People have always done drugs. They take you away from your problems temporarely, and then you are addicted.
Alot of the more popular drugs these days are highly adictive and by there nature creat obsession with the user very quickly.It's not always a matter of adiction the first time.It is obsesion. Before a user knows what happened it has turned to adiction and they don't know til it's to late. Because the world we live in today sets the example for that. A president that is after money, people dying of starvation whilst the millionaire would rather fund the money to build tanks to kill people. Africa was opressed by America and UK but now they lift their shoulders and say they cause their own poverty.
They need some form of drug to make them forget about the world that only causes pain and suffering.

the question isnt why the question should be why not Some people just don't have the inner strength to cope with day to day life. So to deal with it, they turn to something else for support. After a bad day, some people drink. Others smoke. Some do drugs. Some go to church. Some beat the ones they love. Some play sports, or read, or do the crossword puzzle. It's all about the options they think they have, and the choices they decide to make. It just seems to be that the most destructive choices also seem to be the easiest ones to do.
