Re-post: Pre-term labor, and/or hasty transfer?

I know I just posted this earlier this morning but solitary got one response- giving other people a hit and miss to answer, as I'm really curious. Thanks!
Just wondering what symptoms you experienced before you even went into labor? did the doctor's explain why you might enjoy gone into pre-term labor? Did you get it stopped or did you just enjoy a premie? How far along were you when you delivered? Did you enjoy a "feeling" you'd go early? Just wondering what to look for! I'm solely 30 weeks by the way but I've always thought my due date be off a bit and I've felt similar to I might go earlier than my due date- but hopefully not till 37 weeks!

Answers:    I didn't know I be in pre-term labor. I had dull pain in my lower back and upper thighs. I go to the doctor and they tested me for a urinary tract infection. That was clear and upon examination the doctor said that I be 2cm dilated. This was mid may and I was due the 2nd week within July. My doctor put me to bed and I had the baby mid June. We gone the hospital within 2 days. No one told me why it happened. I guess my daughter was at 36-37 weeks. She went to the regular nursery though.
With my first I be induced at 38 weeks
WIth my second I had light cramping at first-anywhere from 6-20 minutes apart (the outset of contractions). 5 hours later I went to use the washroom and lost my mucus plug and I have pretty regular contractions from then on. I was 36 weeks. I did enjoy a feeling that I would go precipitate, but was in denial--I be scheduled to be induced later that week. I go into labor at 42 weeks and 3 days. I knew I was going to jump late though. I just have a feeling. I knew my due date wasn't rotten either because we had planned her and I know when I conceived.
Chances are that you will not conferral prematurely unless you are at high risk like previous preterm conferral or family history, high blood pressure, incompetent cervix, etc...if you are not at high-ranking risk for these (and if you are, your doctors will monitor you) then chances are you will budge around two weeks before to two weeks after your due date. I think it is a not dangerous bet that every woman thinks that she is going to deliver before her due date because those concluding couple weeks can be tough and when you body actually starts to prepare for labor, it seems similar to it will happen anyday, when in actuality you usually stir around your due date. I am also due in September :- ) (30 weeks along) and actually purely came from my doctor last week because I am already have contractions...my doctor wanted to check me to make sure that the contractions be not starting to dilate me, which thank goodness they aren't, and they also gave me a Fetal Fibronectin Test to oral exam if there is a chance I will deliver prematurely...so you see in that are steps your doctor will take if they suspect you may deliver prematurely. I am not necessarily high risk, but I get pregnant again just a couple months after giving birth to my first child and I have also have really low weight gain thus far...only 8 pounds so far...but adjectives is healthy and since I delivered the first toddler full term, I should have no problem carrying my second one to full residence, just have to view the contractions :- ) Good Luck with everything! With my first pregnancy (twins), I went into labor at 24 weeks. I did not hold any warning or "feeling" that this was going to begin -- my only clue was 2 days of spotting that suddenly become a gush of blood. When I got to the hospital they put a monitor on and I was have regular contractions but I wasn't feeling them. I spent 1 week in the hospital on a cocktail of meds to stop the labor, but because my wet had broken, I developed a uterine infection and they delivered me by C-section at 25 weeks. Just examine out for any spotting/bleeding and/or contractions that are painful or regular. Good luck!
