Ok i had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend the day before i went to the doctor for a check up. I had taken a test two days before and it had came out to positive. I went to the doctor after what had happened last night and it showed it was negative. Now the clothes that use to fit me baggy are getting tight...could sex before a doctor's visit change the result of the test??? I need quick help...thanx

Pregnancy test are sometimes false positive and sometimes false negative--they aren't always accurate. BLOOD TEST, if you are freaked out enough you will have the other symptoms, breast tenderness, etc.

the urine pregnancy test have a very good sensibility about 4 to 5 weeks after geting pregned, but a certain percentage culbe repoted as false positive or false negative, if you have two previos positive yopur doc should better have made a test in blood, is better, and you will know, adittionaly mornoing sickness and breast tenderness, are signs of suspect. take a nother one in a few days and if it comes postive go to the docter to see if it is true.
