how bad did your early pregancy pains get??

mine hurt alot at the moment im only 6 weeks into my pregnacy and the pains come and go but it really hurts and the doc just told me its normal. ive had them for the last 2 weeks now and its depressing as i had a miscarriage 12 weeks ago and i had the same pains in the same places. am i just stressing for nothing and did anyone else have the same experiances?
i have really bad period pains normally so im used to the pain im just worried that its not going to turn out as i want it to, me and my partner want this baby as we did the other. i would be grateful of any advice and my appologies if you have just answerd a question on this subject from me but it was removed for being neither a question or and answer apparently!!! ah well never mine hope you can help put my mind at ease as my partner works away during the week and this making me paranoid.

Hi - I'm now 19 weeks into my pregnancy (first timer) and I have had bad pains all through mine - they started very early on (I thought they were period pains) and have not gone away although they are different. I get sharp ripping pains, stabbing pains and what feels like a box of eels squirming in my lower abdomen! I've been very paraniod myself but have been assured everything is fine and dandy. Remember no 2 pregnancies are the same so whilst some people do not have pains others do. I do agree though that if you are not satisfied with your doc/midwife then you need to change them as your mental condition (ie stress) is as important as your physical health.
Best of luck x
I don't have experience with a lot pain that is uncomfortable as you are stating. I am almost 6 weeks and I have no pain. Your doctor should keep an eye on you with a past history of miscarriage. Take special care of yourself at this time.
