contractions for 12 hours...?

i have been having contractions since about 11:30 last night. they are 3-5 mins apart lasting from 45 secs. to a min. and a half approx. they were getting worse last night and i was ready to go to the hospital but decided to try to get some rest first. they havent gotten any worse since they but havent really subsided either...should i be getting ready to go into real labor any time now or am i just experiencing braxton hicks??

Are you dialated? Get your husband/boyfriend/baby's daddy to check (if you trust him). If he feels your cervix opening up, it's time to head to the hospital.
