I had a positive test and nothing was on the ultrasound... how can this be?
Answers:
Sometimes you miscarry so early you can not detect the pregnancy on ultrasound. If you still get positive pregnancy tests, an ectopic pregnancy could be possible. If the tests are negative now, you could have a blighted ovum. Basically it means an egg was fertilized, but a baby never developed (early miscarriage). A blighted ovum shows up as an empty sac on ultrasound.

some test can give a postive result that is why its is best to go to the doctor and get a blood test to deterime if you are pregnant
it does happen occasionally you probably did conceive but then reabsorbed the egg at a very early stage and your body still thought it was pregnant.
