Pregnant or not?

i havent had a period since the beginning on january and i still havent had a period. i have taken several pregnancy tests. and even went to the doctor for a blood test but they wont give me a blood test. I want to know for sure if im pregnant or not. what should i do to find out. i have never missed a period before. especially for almost 5 months!

Answers:
If you were pregnant(at least 5 months worth), you would be showing by now. Find yourself a new doctor so you can get a blood pregnancy test done. In fact, why haven't you done that already? When your doctor refused, you should have gone to another doctor...or are we not getting the entire story here?

Also, many things can prevent your period. Have you lost a lot of weight recently? Are you anorexic or bulemic? Do you exercise excessively? Have you been tested for any medical conditions?

Please find a new doctor and get checked out. No one here can tell you what is going on and even a doctor can't without an exam and possibly some testing.

First off. What did the pregancy tests say? And why wouldn't the docotors give you a blood test?
Have the pregnancy test come out neg? Why wont they give you a blood test?
You need to go to a pregnancy clinic such as planned parenthood were they will give you a free test and they will keep everything confidential.
go back to your Dr and tell them that you have never missed a period before...especially for this long...that you want some test ran on you to make sure that everything is okay with your health. if your Dr wont do it...find a new Dr office and inform them of this matter and they should help you out with everything including your old Dr. office
Honey if you have not had a period since January, you would know whether or not you were pregnant now, because the baby SHOULD be moving! What were the results of the pregnancy tests, and why did you not go to the ER and say something like you are having abdominal pains so they can test you. Let them know that you have not had your menstrual cycle since January and I am sure they will LOOK into it. Good luck!
It's sad to say but you better come clean w/ the POSSIBLE father of the baby and both yours and his parents. If you are, Welcome to adulthood that we call "Real Life!" and no not the TV show. You paid the piper and now it's time to dance. And if the father of the child does not want to claim responsibilities... "Get a lawyer and clean his clock out!" Don't be to concerned about him... it's not like he's worrying about you?!?! Besides, his mommy and daddy will pay big bucks to make EVERYTHING better.
UH....what kind of doctor are you going to? and how old are you?if you are young then you need to talk to your parents or other trusted adult....if you are an adult, then common sense should tell you to find a doctor who will give you a test.Honestly iv'e never heard of such a thing.Try planned parenthood.
Any weight gain, morning sickness? Sometimes stress will stop a period, stop thinking about it and it may happen.
First of all, not everyone shows by their 5th month. Second of all, I didn't feel my baby move until later (6 months+), so that is also false. You do however need to find another doctor that will work with you because if you are pregnant, you have to have a good relationship with your doctor... Your doctor should of given you a test a long time ago and if you weren't pregnant, he or she should be concerned about your health issue.
You very well could be pregnant. But you could be causing the missed periods by stressing about it. I would go to a pregnancy clinic or the health department if your doctor will not give you a blood test. You really need to find out since it has been 5 months since your last period. Because if you are you are missing a lot of important prenatal care.
first of all why wont the doctor give you a blood test when you think your pregnant? thats not very nice really is it?you say you have took home tests and wot did the results come back as?? negative?? ru havin any symptoms??? i wud go back to see your doctor xx 5 moths is a long time?? ru sufferin any stress that can cause you not to come on 2 xxx
what kind of doctor wont give a blood test under the circumstance and when you asked for one? You need to find a new doctor and report misconduct on behalf of the one you have now. Not all women will know they are pregnant at 5 months especially if they have never been pregnant, and you might not be showing. I had a friend that didn't know she was pregnant till 6 1/2 months when she complained of cramps (the baby kicking). Her test where negative. If you are you are missing out on important prenatal care. If you aren't the can be a serious medical condition that needs to be taken care of of. Ovarian Cancer, Cyst, Thyroid Disease and many more
It might be time to call your doc and tell him you really want to have an ultrasound. There could be something else going on besides pregnancy and I wouldn't think he would want to risk any possibility of permanent damage to you by not acting on your request.

If he won't order one, find a new OB/GYN (I don't think I would want such a person treating me) and if you cant' get in right away remember that even your general physician can order this for you (or a doc at a walk in clinic)...you need to protect your body and make sure you know what is going on in that uterus of yours!
yeah ur pregnant same thing happend to me
You may or maynot be pregnant. The same thing happen to me. I didn't have a period for 5 months and took several pregnancy tests and they all came out neg and even went to my doctor and he said I wasn't pregnant. I had been under a lot of stress so he thought that had something to do with it all. He ended up giving some pills to start me back up again and everything has been fine since then. I would go back to him and demand a blood test and if that comes back neg. then I would talk to him about seeing what else could be wrong and they may do what they did with me. Just give you a pill if they can't find anything wrong. If you have been under stress from anything that can really cause it.
