When your water broke at home, did it making a popping noise? Did it continue to leak after?
Answers:
Yes, it did make a popping noise, so much so it woke my husband up. Yes, it did continue to leak. Which would of been helpful information at the time. I thought once it broke that was it. Wrong! lol

Yes it did, we called the plumber. No popping that I know of (it happened when I was asleep and flat on my back), it absolutely kept leaking. The leaking stopped about an hour later.
we drooped our 5 gallon water jug and it made one hell of a popping noise then it just pored out until we pick the damn thing up.... Just kidding ... congrats...
When there is a water break whether it's in your home, or in the outside pipes connected to your house, the popping noise is the water pressure. When the water is turned off, there should be no leaks because there isn't a flow of water any longer. When the leak gets fixed, and the water is turned back on, you will hear a strange noise in the pipes, sometimes a popping, sometimes a groaning - and sometimes just really loud. It's actually the air that was trapped in the pipes when the water was turned off, trying to make it's way out along with the flow of the water. This will go away after each faucet in your house has been turned on, and water flow resumes as normal.
It can make a pop yes it is because of the pressure of the baby dropping in to the lower pelvic area getting ready for there travel down the birth canal and yes it will keep leaking until you have the baby because the anionic fluid is what protects the baby and provides lubrication for the child at birth. yes go to the hospital and congrats

I didn't hear a pop, but I was out fishing! It continued to leak for about 2 hours afterwards.
Though my memory is a little hazy due to the drugs.
Go to the hospital now if your waters are broken!!!
Good luck!
I was at work when my water broke. It didn't make a noise I just had a burning feeling in my lower abdomen and it leaked. I started having contractions after that and it would leak with each one.
Good luck and congrats on the baby. Make sure to let your doctor know what happened so he can instruct you on what he wants you to do.
I don't remember a popping sound. More of a thud really. Yes, you will continue to leak. Often the baby's head comes down and plugs the cervix but as the baby's head moves, more amniotic fluid will leak out. The doctor likes you to deliver within 24 hours of your water breaking to help prevent infection.
