Yes. Pregnancy tests measure the amount of pregnancy hormone in your system ( HCG ). This hormone goes up significantly every 24 hours. Different pregnancy tests measure different amounts. If you think you may be pregnant and got a negative result, wait a day or two and retest. Your HCG level would be much higher in a few days and would probaly register a positive. If you don't want to wait, you can go to a clinic and get a blood test. They can measure even the tiniest amount of HCG in your system through a blood test and tell you much earlier than a home pregnancy test could.

yes I think so also if you are trying to have a baby and stressing out about it it could delay your period. Another thing to watch out for is tubal pregnancy but it would be painfull if not then you probably have nothing to worry about if you are trying to have a baby good luck and I hope you are pregnant.

most of the time those HPT's are very accurate. However there is a small chance that you could be pregnant. At one month late though your body should have built up enough HCG hormone to register on an HPT. I would suggest you go to your doctor and get a blood test to be sure and that way you can put your mind at ease. If you haven't conceived after 2 years of unprotected sex... there may be something else wrong all together. Your best bet is to go to the doctor and he can run some blood tests on you to make everything is okay and that you are ovulating. If you are not... he could prescribe a drug called clomid which is inexpensive and most women conceive on it after about 3 months of using it.

wait another week and take another test, if you still think you might be after that see the dr, sometimes if you want to be preggy you can convince your body that you are and you wont get your period. also if your under alot of stress or have a cold or other sickness you might not get it at the normal time. this has happend to me a few times, usually i get it before i take the second test, goodluck on what ever your hoping for.
Yes you can. If the home test is light in color, then you are probbly half pregnant. Wait a few days for the sperm to settle

yes, those tests dont always tell accurately, I was pregnant with my son, and I took 5 tests, all of them negative. then finally the one I got from the dollar store it said yes, If you want accurate, go to the hospital, or wemons clinic in your area, If you want to keep it on the down low, they cant tell anyone.Its against the law. ever heard of HIPPA?
If you used a cheap brand of pregnancy test kit - as you have said - then there is the good possibility that you have started gestation.
When in doubt see your doctor. He (or she) can schedule you in to see an OB/Gyn to have a proven method of checking done. And if you are, then congratulations! Better get that crib and stack of disposable diapers ready!

Yes you could still be pregnant, I would wait a week and test again. Stress will make you late and certain foods can cause you to be late as well. Relax for a bit, dont stress and maybe it will all play out the way you want it to. Pregnant if you want or not pregnant if you want that, but good luck!!
