Answers:
Such things are not at all uncommon. It could be many different things, not the least of which are the tone of your husband's voice, the nature of his movements... Even just his scent can cause a certain amount of alarm in babies. Unfortunately, there's no instant solution for it... This is going to go away gradually, most likely. You can't very well hurry the process, you stand to shock the child and do some damage that might be hard to repair. The best thing you can do is keep trying. I'm unsure about the nature of your trip, but unless the baby simply won't ever see hubby again, the best you can hope for is a gradual improvement.

The deeper voice sometimes freaks babys out alittle.
well i wish i cld help but m loving ur experience n waiting fr the same mine is 17th week, take care n love to u mother.
I think maybe your husbands voice is soothing to your baby. When your baby is restless and kicking and squirming, and then hears your husbands voice helps him/her to relax.

Good Luck
My son did the same thing in the womb.........................B... the day he was born he heard my husband right away and stopped crying and looked at him It was so cool................I think the voice is calming and sooths the baby and they like it.Enjoy this time it goes by sooooooooo fast.
I am 39 weeks and I swear I have the same problem, but not with my husband, but with my sister, she is two years younger than me and loves babys and wants one so bad, and I swear I am pregnant with the worlds most active baby, but whenever she wants to feel him move, as soon as she puts her hands on my belly he stays still, all I have to say is when this baby is born and fussy I will hand him off to her and hopefully she has the same effect
