Only if *that* menstrual cycle will eventually be 3 weeks long or less. And you will only know that after the fact.

If you want to use Natural Family Planning to avoid pregnancy, you need a lot more information than can be contained in a few short paragraphs. Please read the book, _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It will answer all your questions of this sort.

Other Answers:
it is never safe to have unprotected sex becuase your vagina is a comfy place for sperm and so they can live there or start their journey to your egg and they'll still be alive when you ovulate! be safe!
no such thing as a safe timeframe hun....use protection or abstain.
Ha! No, that's the worst time!!! Right after your period is the safest time, but that doesn't mean you should do it. Use protection!
There is no safe time for unprotected sex, a womans cycle is too unpredictable to calculate. Don't ever take chances.
If you don't want to get pregnant you should never have unprotected sex. Always use a condom (to help prevent against std's) and birth control pills (to help prevent pregnancy).
Yes. Really, you shouldn't stress about it. Having a baby is meant to be an expression of the love you and your partner have for each other. In my opinion, if you make it to medical it's more like you are trying to cure some sort of disease. Have fun!

That's the worst time, because sperm can live up to 72 hours. That would be exactly when you'd be ovulating.

Short answer: Always have safe sex.
NEVER have unprotected sex. EVER! (Okay, unless you are trying to get pregnat).

Sorry to yell at you, but it's really dangerous.

You could get all sorts of really nasty sexually transmitted diseases - including HIV/AIDS which could still kill you.

Personal experience.
Nooooooo no no no no no no NO! Unless one or both of you have been sterilized you should never have unprotected sex if you don't want to get pregnant.
No! Never have unprotected unless you are married and are having sex with your spouse.
No time is safe.

Use a better method of birth control.
Go to Planned Parenthood online for a complete explanation of the average cycle for a menstrating woman. It was a huge help to me.

Most women ovulate about 14 days before their period begins. Since this is difficult to determine, no, its probably not safe.
it is not that safe i will therefor advivise you to use a protector
Don't be stupid. I can't say this enough always use protection.
I use natural family planning. I record things that are happening with my body throughout my cycle (i choose to not call it a month because it never is). That is the only way for you to accurately know when you will ovulate. It is not always 12-16 days after your period. I ovulate 17-21 days after my period. I use this method because I am married and will have more children, and it would not be catastrophic to my life if I were to become pregnant. If you do not want to become pregnant you should either abstain from ANY sexual activity without the use of contraception!
Absolutely. In fact ANY time is a safetime for unprotected sex in respect to getting pregnant.

Unless of course you mean safe with respect to NOT getting pregnant.
