If this is your first baby, it would be unusual (though not impossible) to feel anything (and to recognize it for what it is) this early.

And it totally depends on your body and how you're carrying, plus the position of your baby.

I'm thin, and I thought I would feel my babies early. But, as it turned out, I had an anterior placenta in both pregnancies and I don't think I felt them move until I was much closer to 20 weeks.

Most women feel their first movements between 16 - 20 weeks. First time moms usually feel it later than second time moms. It is not impossible to feel the baby at only 14 weeks IF the baby is in just the right position, placenta not anterior, etc.

At 14 weeks the very top of the uterus is around 2 inches above the top edge of your pubic bone (measured when you are laying flat). If the flutters you feel are low, kind of in the area of your bladder, then it could be your baby. If it's up high, it's not!

[Any flutters at two months/8-10 weeks would be gas. The baby is too small, and the uterus is still deep in the pelvis at that time.]

Not at all. I had the same experience when I was pregnant too.

You start to feel movement at around 20 weeks of pregnancy. (5 months)

16 weeks and on. Usually 16 weeks is about the time that second or third time moms start to feel it. Definitley not 2 months like someone said..

its usually from 16 weeks you feel fluttering, but you may actually be that, they say that you are however many weeks give or take a couple. average pregnancy lasts 38 to 42 weeks. how exciting, makes me want another!
